A Cork local, Shaoifrá’s love for anything creative and beautiful translates seamlessly into her career as a tattoo artist. Her ability to work closely with her clients to bring their ideas to life results in timeless pieces and momentos forever.

Hi! I’m Shaoifrá, the artist behind @primadonna_ink. I specialise in fineline and dot work, with a soft spot for floral and animal-inspired designs. That being said, I’m always open to all styles and love working closely with clients to create something truly personal.

Before I picked up a tattoo machine, I spent three years studying fine art at St. Johns and Crawford College of Art and Design, which gave me a solid foundation in composition, detail, and creative expression. I’ve now been tattooing for just over three years, combining my love for art with the incredible experience of working on skin.

I am honoured to be working in Chasing Ghosts, a studio filled with warmth, talent, and the most welcoming atmosphere. I’m lucky to work alongside some seriously skilled and inspiring artists who push me to grow every day. It’s a space where creativity flows, and clients always come first.

I’m a big believer that getting a tattoo should feel exciting and comfortable, not intimidating. I am super chatty, and always happy to answer any questions – whether it’s your first tattoo or your fiftieth. Building a rapport with my client is a huge part of the process, I believe that feeling comfortable, relaxed, and heard throughout the entire tattoo is key to a great experience—and a great result. Whether you have a million questions or just want someone to walk you through every step, I’m here for it.
